Corporate History
1870 Jan. "Nishibata Senpo" started its business as a calendar specialty shop.
1953 Changed its name to "Nishibata Calendar".
1965 Aug. Opened the main office in Houei, Fukui city, Fukui Pref.
1968 Sep. Became a stock company, "Nishibata Corporation"
with a capital of 4,000,000 yen.
1970 Aug. Built a distribution center and a printing facility.
Capital increased to 8,000,000 yen.
1971 Jul. Tokyo Office opened.
1972 Mar. Osaka Office opened.
1975 Mar. Capital increased to 16,000,000.
1977 Mar. Built a new distribution center (3,300square meters) in Toumyouji-cho
to handle more calendars.
1979 Mar. Added a binding facility in Toumyouji Plant.
1981 Mar. Added a printing facility in Toumyouji Plant.
1984 May. Added another printing facility in Toumyouji Plant, equipped with
more printers, cutters and binders.
1987 May. Built the Headquarters (3,300square meters) and a new Distribution Center (2,300square meters) next to Toumyouji Plant.
Jun. Founded Nishibata Distribution Corporation.
1988 Mar. Nagoya Office opened.
Apr. Capital increased to 20,000,000.
1992 Sep. Built Sakai Plant (13,300square meters) to handle more calendars.
Capital increased to 40,000,000.
1997 May Built a distribution center (2,534square meters) in Sakai Plant (13,300square meters).
